Why I started Little Tiger Academy
At Little Tiger Academy, we believe education is more than just teaching—it is about companionship, consistency, and the power of small details.
Learning With Joy, Achieving With Results
In our classrooms, children discover that learning can be joyful while still leading to real results. Beyond the classroom, our teachers and I spend countless hours reflecting, refining, and innovating, so that every child’s eyes shine brighter and every parent feels more at ease.
Why I Stay Committed
I know from my own journey that education has the power to change lives. One caring teacher can alter the entire path of a child’s learning. Parents sometimes say, “My child doesn’t like to study.” But in truth, children don’t dislike learning—they just haven’t yet experienced the joy of success. At Little Tiger, our mission is to guide them to that moment: from “not willing” to “not wanting to leave.”

Our Vision
As the founder, my vision is simple: to help more children grow in a way that allows them to achieve academically while keeping their inner light alive. Because education, I believe, is the most gentle—yet most powerful—force to change lives.
Meet the Team
Formal training and love of learning is important to us!
This is why we hire teachers who hold master's degrees in education. Not only do we adore children but our stuff receives advanced training on understanding the philosophy and science behind what it means to be a child.
Founder & Principal
Dr. Julie Yu
Dr. Yu oversees the operation of Little Tiger Academy and leads teaching quality, curriculum design, and teacher development.
Dr. Yu firmly believes that Education changes lives--gently, powerfully; Where success begins, lives are transformed.
Dr. Yu has helped many students change their lives through the studies of Chinese. (check out what her students say about her)
Dr. Yu previously taught at Princeton University in Beijing Program, West Virginia University, WVU Governor's Honors Academy, and holds a K-12 Teacher Certificate in the U.S.A.
Founding Teacher
Ms. Rong Rong
Ms. Rong Rong has two Master's Degrees in Early Childhood Education and K-4 Education from both China and U.S. She also holds a teacher certificate in China.
Rong is passionate about nurturing children's curiosity, independence, and joy in learning. Her teaching style is lively, engaging, and diverse in methods. Rong is a recipient of a national-level silver award in writing. She always stives to light up children's world with love and responsibility. In her spare time, Rong enjoys cooking.
Founding Teacher
Ms. Yuan Yuan
Ms. Yuan Yuan has two Master's Degrees in Early Childhood Education and K-4 Education from both China and U.S. She holds a teacher certificate in China.
Yuan was Master of Ceremonies for the Philadelphia Four Universities Spring Festival Gala, Chinese Voice Actor, former Radio Station Director.
Yuan is committed to guiding children to see a bigger world with love and patience.
